This textured silver and gold dome is shaped from silver silver clay.  Accents of 24k gold have been added for interest. A patina has been applied and the piece has been hand polished to bring out the beautiful details and contrast between the silver and gold.

Fine silver metal clay consists of fine silver particles and a binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
