About PurSueSilver
I started working with Precious Metal Clay (PMC, fine silver) several years ago and fell in love with the medium immediately. PMC is so versatile-ideally suited to the crafting of any level of detail, from simple forms to complex structural beads. Along the way I started integrating fine silver wire into my work. It was a natural complement to PMC since they are both .999 pure silver and can be fused into singular and graceful forms without the use of chemical bonding agents. I handcraft many of the chains and connections I use for both my PMC and beaded pieces.
I create most of my own texture plates to apply to my work that are inspired by the grace found in flower forms, leaf shapes, and plant structures. Similarly, I'm drawn to organic colors--greens, browns, blues, but I also revel in the unexpected pop of color, the shimmer of crystals and the luster of pearls that provide a softness to my craft.
