Weed seeds gathered from walks in the woods has made a lovely collection.  These were made from fine, dried seed heads of grass pressed into fine silver clay. The pattern is so delicate.  A patina was applied to bring out the details of nature.

Length is 1 inch long, including ear wire and 1/2 inch wide.

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying, refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
