This pendant was hand formed from fine silver clay, .999 pure silver, that has been imprinted with Sambucus leaves.  Some leaves have been accented with 24k gold which has been fused to the silver.  A patina had been added to this beautiful pendant to bring out the wonderful details of the leaves. It hangs from a sterling silver snake chain.  What a wonderful gift for you or the gardener in your life!

Fine silver clay consists of fine silver particles and an organic binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
