A sterling silver ring made from a real aster flower impressed into sterling silver metal clay. A lovely satin finish on the ring brings out the aster petals texture.  A light patina has been applied to accentuate the details. The aster flower is approximately 5/8 inch round.  The ring size approximately 7 3/4-8.

Sterling silver metal clay consists of silver particles and a binder.  After forming, drying and refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .925 sterling silver.
